Ledzer is made by one person, so replies usually take a day or two. Telling me your device model and iOS version saves a round trip.

How support works for an offline app

Ledzer has no accounts, no servers and no sync. Everything you enter is stored in a database on your own phone, and the app makes no network requests at all. That is the point of it — but it does mean there is nothing I can look up on my end. I can't see your data, restore it, or recover it for you. Answers below reflect that honestly.

Common questions

Where is my data stored?

In a SQLite database inside Ledzer's own sandbox on your device. It is not uploaded anywhere, and no other app can read it.

Can you see my transactions?

No. There is no server to send them to. The app makes no network requests, so nothing you type ever leaves the phone.

How do I back up my data, or move it to a new phone?

You can't yet — and this is the most important thing to know before you start using Ledzer seriously. There is no export, no backup and no transfer in version 1.0. Deleting the app deletes your history permanently. Export is the feature I'm working on next.

Does Ledzer connect to my bank?

No. There are no bank logins, no card linking and no automatic imports. Every entry is one you typed. That is a deliberate trade: you do the typing, and in exchange nobody brokers your transaction history.

Why doesn't the Scan tab use my camera?

Because there is no camera in Ledzer, on purpose. The Scan screen is framing UI whose shutter opens a built-in demo receipt, so you can try the bill-splitting flow without granting camera access. Ledzer ships no camera or OCR code of any kind.

How do I start over?

Settings → Data → Reset data. It clears everything and cannot be undone.

Which currency does it use?

Whichever you pick in Settings → Currency. It is a display label only: Ledzer does no conversion and fetches no exchange rates, because it never goes online. Amounts you enter are stored exactly as typed.

I found a bug, or want a feature

Email support@useledzer.com. Feature requests genuinely do get read — the app is small enough that they still change the roadmap.
